As the year winds down to a close, Sybiz is still working hard on helping our customers reimagine what’s possible with the right software solution by their side. Earlier this week we released Sybiz 26, which includes revamped General Ledger and Lookup reports, a Cashflow Statement report to help clarify your business’s cash position, Default User States to keep users on the same page, and native SMS integration for CRM. Sybiz Visipay also received updates in preparation for the launch of Payday Super at the beginning of the next financial year.

2025 saw us celebrating 50 years of software innovation, from humble beginnings making programs for calculators to the international ERP and HCM solution provider of today. The celebration was observed with an As Good As Gold 50th anniversary dinner at our biennial international Business Partner Conference in February.

In 2026, we’re looking ahead to the changes the new year will bring, including the introduction of Payday Super, which mandates that superannuation be paid at the same time as employees’ wages. The change will require a review in pay items and updates to STP2 reporting requirements. While the exact details of implementation are still being worked out, Sybiz has put together a guide of relevant information and links to official ATO sources. Sybiz is also in the final phase of end of life for Sybiz Vision Classic and VSM. After 31 December 2025, Sybiz will no longer issue fully functional licenses for these products; users will receive a licence enabling read-only access for historical data purposes.
