Let's Make Tax Digital, with Sybiz Vision

The UK Government’s goal to Make Tax Digital for VAT will come into play from the April-June 2019 quarter. Sybiz has been working with HMRC to ensure Sybiz users have a great experience moving forward with MTD. In Sybiz Vision the process of MTD is seamless and straight forward. To help Sybiz customers still using Sybiz Vision Classic (versions below 13) there will be an update in 2019 to add the MTD functionality to Sybiz Vision Classic. These customers will need to update their software before reporting to ensure compliance.

From 1 April 2019, VAT registered businesses (who are over the £85,000 threshold) will be required to submit VAT returns to the HMRC using MTD compatible software. A pilot program is currently in effect.
