Beginning with Sybiz 27, Sybiz will only offer support for versions of Sybiz Vision that are within two versions of the latest release. Due to the more dynamic nature of legislation surrounding payroll, Sybiz Visipay should always be kept up to date. Naturally, if there is a legislation change that necessitates an update to Sybiz Vision, then it will be necessary to upgrade, as changes are not retrospectively made to older versions.

What this means is that when Sybiz Vision 27 is released, the earliest supported version will become Sybiz Vision 25. Users who are running versions of the software earlier than Sybiz Vision 25 will be required to update their software before support can be offered. This helps us focus our support resources and minimise instances where we must troubleshoot issues that are not reproducible in more recent versions.

On occasion, the latest version of Sybiz software may require you to upgrade your operating system, SQL server or hardware to support the latest requirements. Keeping these systems regularly updated also facilitates meeting compliance regulations and protecting yourself against emerging cybersecurity threats. SybizCloud users can be assured they will regularly be upgraded to the latest available Sybiz software solution.

Make sure you’re subscribed to our customer newsletter for regular updates about Sybiz solutions.

For customers making use of third-party integrations, these integrations may need to be updated independently to function correctly with the latest version of Sybiz software. We encourage you or your Sybiz Authorised Business Partner to arrange for these upgrades in a timely fashion to avoid falling outside of the two-version policy.

More information for third-party developers can be found on the Sybiz Partner Portal.
