Default user states

Get all your users on the same page with Default User States, which lets you assign a user state to multiple users, for a uniformity of experience across Vision. Create states from existing users, which can then be updated and seemlessly applied at the touch of a button. User states can be used to control columns and filters in transactions and management grids, making sure your users have the information they need right at their fingertips. Changes to grids will be allowed but will be reset once the user closes the screen, restoring back to the default state.

New cashflow account type and report

A cashflow account type classification can be assigned to general ledger accounts and limit which accounts can be used directly from the cashbook. We're also introducing a new Cashflow Statement Report to provide insight into which activities are contributing to the cash position of the company based on transaction date.

Jobs and service transactions made easier

Multiple transaction improvements have been made to Vision and two of our mobile apps, Vision Jobs and Vision Service. Invoice customers are available for jobs in cases where the job is assigned to one customer but billable to another, such as in the case of head and branch offices. In the apps, job and service requests can be created on the go using a template to pre-fill all the required information. The colour coding of scheduled jobs and service tasks will carry over from Vision, and users can swipe to open a job or service request from the agenda or while viewing the appointment directly.

Native SMS within Vision

Reach out to your customers with the rapid convenience of SMS messaging. SMS activities can be created and sent via the SMS settings configured within the company options right inside Vision. There is also breakpoint support to create an activity when sending an SMS from breakpoints so the action is logged against a customer.

Edit direct from the HRM grid

Get easier access to your employees data by editing values straight from the HRM grid. Now it takes fewer steps and screens to view and modify information on members of your workforce.

ESS payslips

Make receiving payslips easier for your employees. Users now have the option to send an email to employees advising them of when their payslip is availble in ESS, rather than emailing out an encrypted PDF.

Avoid data entry errors

Users can clear a previously entered general ledger account in the Payroll Journal Setup Wizard. This allows specific combinations of department/pay items being prohibited and creating an error at the time of journal creation to allow for correction before it is posted.

Archived reminders

When a reminder is presented to the end-user while processing pays, an option to archive the reminder rather than delete it is presented. The reminder is then turned into a note against the employee record with the original date retained.
