New Features

Clock in with Timesheets!

All new Timesheet Management functionality has arrived in Sybiz Visipay 21.10. Accessible from Employee Self Service (ESS), staff can now enter, approve and import timesheet data directly into Sybiz Visipay. Tailor your Timesheet processes with easily customisable settings, giving payroll and management staff even more control over an increasingly remote workforce.

This video outlines setting up and using Timesheet Management in Sybiz Visipay.

The next video demonstrates how Timesheet Management looks in the Sybiz Employee Self Service Portal and how to import Timesheets for processing pays in Sybiz Visipay.

A brand new Employee Self Service Portal

The Sybiz Employee Self Service (ESS) Portal has been completely rewritten from the ground up. Access Sybiz ESS on your favourite internet browser with an all new modern and functional layout, while the responsive design provides greater user accessibility options for varying screen resolutions and font sizes.

Employee Self Service on the go

Sybiz's ESS capability has arrived on Android and iOS devices. The all new Sybiz Visipay ESS app gives employers and employees leave management and payslip history in a secure, personalised experience. With dedicated functionality for both staff and approval managers, Sybiz's ESS app is an all-in-one leave management resource that makes working from home and adapting to our changing business environment easier for payroll managers and their staff.

Multi-Factor Authentication for Microsoft Office 365

Sybiz customers that use Microsoft Office 365 as their Email Type in Sybiz Visipay can now utilise the added security of Multi-Factor Authentication.

Multi-Factor Authentication can be enabled in Sybiz Visipay version 21.00 by selecting File > Options > Email Options and then unticking the Login Required checkbox. Select the elipses on the Server field and login using your Microsoft credentials as demonstrated in the short video below.

Please note that Multi-Factor Authentication will not accept personal Microsoft account credentials and users must have a corporate login.

More secure document viewing

Using the Sybiz Visipay Viewer allows users to view documents saved in Visipay from within the software, rather than downloading a visible file to your downloads folder, making viewing confidential documentation more secure on the cloud and on shared devices. Set up the document viewer as your default setting under Options > Company Details > Use Sybiz Viewer.

Public holidays until 2024

National Australian public holidays have added to new and existing databases until 2024, giving users confidence that leave applications will be correctly calculated for dates in the coming years. Now would be a great time to add or review your state based public holidays too. (CR201144946)

Import Prior Year Fringe Benefits

Prior Year Fringe Benefit amounts can now be imported, saving users time by reducing manual entry. (CR200744077)

Improvements to Single Touch Payroll invalidations and errors

Changes have been made to improve exception handling if invalid data is encountered when submitting STP records, making reporting Single Touch Payroll a smoother process for users.
