Taxable Payments Annual Reporting have become familiar to the cleaning, courier and construction industries, but from 1 July 2019 reporting expanded to road freight, security, investigation, surveillance and information technology industries.
As we have reached the end of 2019/2020 financial year, these industries must prepare to lodge their first Taxable Payments Annual Report.
Australian businesses in the industries above who have made payments to contractors throughout the financial year are required to lodge their report by 28 August. If you are not sure about your TPAR requirements, check the ATO website for more information.
Exporting a TPAR directly from Sybiz Vision is a very simple process, making it easier to review and submit your reports on time via the ATO Business Portal.
Due to recent changes in the formatting of TPAR files, we recommend all businesses required to submit a report are on the latest version of Sybiz Vision.
